Returns

As we specialize in curated pre-owned and vintage luxury items, each piece is unique and has been carefully authenticated. To protect the integrity of our items and ensure they are returned in the exact condition they were sent, we attach a numbered security seal to every bag.

1. 14-Day Return Policy

In accordance with EU law, you have 14 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return.

2. Condition for a Full Refund (Security Seal)

The security seal serves as our "Guarantee of Authenticity and Condition."

• Full Refund: We only accept returns for a full refund if the item is returned in its exact original condition, with the security seal intact and uncut.

• Tampered Seals: If the seal is removed or broken, the item is considered used and has lost its certified pre-owned value. In such cases, a significant compensation fee for loss of value will be deducted from your refund.

3. Mandatory Protective Packaging

To prevent damage during transit, the item must be securely packaged before shipping.

• You may use the original shipping box provided or your own sturdy box.

• Important: Do not send the item back without an outer protective box (e.g., just in a dust bag or paper wrap), as this may lead to damage. If the item arrives damaged due to insufficient packaging, the customer will be held liable for the loss in value.

4. Return Process & DHL Labels

To ensure a secure and trackable return, please follow these steps:

1. Notify us: Email info@thetasche.com with your order number within 14 days.

2. Receive Label: We will provide you with a pre-paid DHL Return Label.

3. Return Shipping Fees: A flat-rate fee for the label will be deducted from your refund:

   • Germany: €10.00

   • European Union (EU): €20.00

5. Inspection & Refunds

Upon arrival, each return undergoes a meticulous inspection. Once the condition and seal are verified, your refund will be processed within 10 business days.
